TASTING NOTES:
  • Aroma: In direct comparison, the Fiddich 12 is full and voluminous in the nose. The Grants Triple wood is a little lighter and has more baked notes and a hint of sawdust.
  • Palate: In a direct comparison, the grant is a little more alcoholic and a little lighter on the tongue. Some ginger, vanilla croissants, some berries.
The profile of the Fiddich is not so dissimilar, even if it emphasizes a little more fruit and is a little more oak-heavy.
  • Finish: Here, too, the blend is a bit shorter and flatter.
