The Glendronach 21 year old Parliament is matured in a combination of the finest Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. Left to age and mature for at least 21 years and bottled at 48% ABV, the Parliament is one of Glendronach’s signature whisky.
Glendronach is a whisky distillery based in Scotland, in the Highland whisky district. One of the producers of highland Scotches, the distillery was founded in 1826 by James Allardes. Drawing water from the Dronac burn, which is within the distillery grounds, the whisky producer has its own floor maltings, two wash stills and two spirit stills.
The Glendronach Parliament actually has no political associations. In fact, it is named as the Parliament after the collective term for a group of rooks. There is also a Parliament of Rooks living in the trees near Glendronach, Scotland, hence the name.
Glen whisky is really very good and is one of the top whisky brands in the world. The tasty combination of sherry matured whiskies from both Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez Glendronach distilleries has created something pretty spectacular! Aged for 21 years with no colouring added, the golden brown coloured whiskey is a top rated Scotch across all platforms. Most Glen Scotch reviewers give it 5 over 5 stars.
